First off, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the eyes. I'm a sucker for creature eyes, whether it's on a human or it's a whole new fantasy race entirely. The skin blends really well with the chosen color of the eyes and the fur/hair/ feathers surrounding them; the eyelashes are amazing as well; same with the hair, which is also really well done. The detail of each strand stands out and convinces me it's real. The background is subtle and makes the main viewpoint the woman, which is what you want when dealing with portrait like paintings.

The nose is a bit large and wide, but the shading on it is perfect. Noses are difficult (I have difficulty with eyes, go figure, huh?) The dip right under the nose is small for the size of the nose. If you look at peoples faces you'll notice the dip is almost the same size as the middle of the nose. There is flesh that connects the nose to the face and that is what creates the dip (hope that makes sense)

The lips are shaded well and the lighting is perfect, though for me the light moves too far into the mouth but that's preference. They're luscious and full, and gives a certain emotion to the face. She has an intent look which the lips give, as well as the eyes.

To conclude, you've done a wonderful job here and I love the shading and the eyes especially. I'm blown away by how amazing they are. There are tutorials online you can look at for noses, unless this is how you prefer to do noses, that's fine too. It's your art. You've inspired me to try my own hand at placing animal elements on faces. I look forward to seeing more of your artwork, hopefully more like this one with large, beautiful eyes. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n…" width="35" height="31" alt=":#1:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="122" title="#1"/>
